PROJECT
THE
GOSSYPIUM COFFEE HOUSE
Nestled in the heart of Manchester, the project aims to celebrate the city's industrial history whilst creating a vibrant environment for both locals and travellers. The Gossypium Coffee House was created through the contextual analysis of the past, the resolution of site’s issues in the present and the contribution to the growth of Manchester’s future. The programme provides a dynamic backdrop for Manchester's welcome mat, through the interactive live action coffee roastery and restaurant combined with commercial and archive space. The Gossypium Coffee House offers an insight to Manchester's rich industrial history whilst welcoming a weary traveller with a good old cup of coffee.
